This position oversees the management and profitable growth of a branch with deposits between $25 million and $75 million; manages branch personnel and directs daily operations to provide a high level of financial services to bank customers; provides sales training to all staff to meet sales goals and objectives.
The successful candidate will perform a variety of paying and receiving functions for deposit and loan customers, lend support in the development of new business, assist new and existing customers, promote the image of the bank in the community, assist with loan process and accept loan applications and be alert to the needs of the customers. This successful candidate will transition between customer services and the teller line in the course of a day based on customer needs.
This position reports to the Senior Retail Lender; reviews and underwrites loan applications to include: Conforming, Non-Conforming, Investor loans, modifications, subordinations and portfolio loans in accordance with guidelines and compliance standards; responds to inquiries providing guidance and clarification to staff and vendors.
This position is charged with leading and developing the team to ensure operations strategies are carried out and to ensure production levels are met and are in compliance while delivering exceptional internal and external customer experiences. This position will be the expert for determining all underwriting criteria, interpretation, forms and processes in meeting investor, portfolio and mortgage insurance guidelines.
