Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work with the Bank’s third-party IT service providers to maintain and support local and wide area network operations, including ongoing performance monitoring and tuning, administration of domain services, hard and software configuration and implementation, troubleshooting, break/fix, and end-user support functions.
  • Provide direct support for the daily operation of LAN/WAN infrastructure, email, and internal requests for desktop assistance, etc.
  • Manage the timely and accurate resolution of technical issues including documentation of procedures and problem resolutions.
  • Implement preventative maintenance policies and procedures to ensure that the network functions according to design and consistent with security standards.
  • Interact with third-party vendors as needed to help resolve performance issues with applications in the web-based or hosted environment.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventories.
  • Assist with audits, examinations, and risk assessments.
  • Assist in the development and testing of disaster recovery procedures.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and company policies as stated in Bank's Code of Conduct.
  • Complete required training including regulatory, systems and others within the requested time periods.  

Job Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of BS degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience maintaining local and wide area networks for an institution of equal size or larger.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in providing end-user support for network-related issues.
  • Experience within the financial services industry preferred.
  • MCSE or the equivalent, preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will demonstrate deep understanding of the following: Windows Server 2012/2016/2019; active directory and domain administration; Hyper-V; Windows 10; DHCP; print services; and web browser configuration.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
