Overdraft Privilege

Avoid embarrassing situations with two overdraft options from Haverhill Bank! You can authorize automatic transfers from your business savings account to your business checking account to cover overdrafts.*

For additional protection, Haverhill Bank offers the Overdraft Privilege service.** Haverhill Bank will consider, without obligation on its part, paying overdrafts of up to $1,000 on eligible business/commercial accounts. No action is required from you. The service is automatically available for eligible accounts.

*$25.00 overdraft, uncollected funds or insufficient funds charge applies to overdrafts created by payments authorized by checks, ACH/electronic items, Online Banking, Phone Banking, in-person withdrawals and ATM/Debit Card transactions. You must bring your balance positive immediately or as soon as possible and at least every 30 days. The bank cannot promise to pay every overdraft and is never obligated to pay your overdraft. The bank typically does not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, for example, you are not making regular deposits. There is no NSF fee if the transaction or overdrawn balance is less than or equal to $10.

Check Imaging

No matter which checking account option you choose, images of your cancelled checks will be included with your monthly statement. The images make it easy for you to reconcile your accounts while reducing the amount of paper you have to monitor each month.

In addition, images of your cancelled checks appear online as soon as they are processed. You can easily view the front and back of each check by clicking on its image when you access your online account, so you won't need to wait for your monthly statement to see your cancelled checks.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Safe deposit boxes are available at Haverhill Bank’s main office. A variety of box sizes are available from 3 by 5 to 10 by 10 inches and each is available on annual contract terms. Boxes are recommended for storage of such valuables as jewelry, insurance policies, stock certificates, automobile titles, birth and death certificates and other important papers and heirlooms.

  • Visit your safe deposit box at any time during regular lobby business hours

Boxes are are subject to availability and not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the Shared Insurance Fund. Check with your insurance agent to learn if coverage is available under your homeowner’s or renter’s policy.

Coins & Currency

Business account holders can order coin and currency from any branch at no additional charge.

Orders are limited to supplies on hand.

Night Deposit

Can't make it to the bank during regular business hours? If you're a qualifying business account holder, you can deposit funds after hours in the night deposit boxes conveniently located at all Haverhill Bank branches!

Wire Transfers

Transfer funds to and from most financial institutions both quickly and easily.

Merchant Deposits

Process debit and credit cards from your place of business using merchant services provided by Elavon Inc. Your account will be credited electronically, saving you a trip to the bank!

Payroll Services

Payroll services are available to our business banking customers, helping to save time and money by paying your employees via direct deposit.

Payroll services are offered by Paychex, Inc., a third-party service provider, not affiliated with Haverhill Bank.


You will receive a monthly statement detailing all transactions for each account that you have at Haverhill Bank. This comprehensive statement makes it easy for you track your cash flow and reconcile your accounts regularly.

You may also take advantage of a complimentary upgrade to eStatements, which are delivered to you within Online Banking at the end of each statement cycle. With eStatements, you will enjoy the convenience of having all of your account information in one central location, as well as instant access to past eStatements.
